I do not charge HST and offer services to residents of Ontario only. I provide receipts for payment as a Registered Social Worker with a Master's in Counselling Psychology. Please check with your insurance provider about coverage. Please contact me regarding fees.
Coverage and Deductions
Social work counselling services are increasingly covered under group benefits plans. Most group benefit plans or university or college medical plans cover social work services. Please check with your specific provider to inquire about coverage. Some university and college students may qualify for bursaries that cover social work services and/or coaching. If you are registered with your school's accessibility office, speak to your counsellor about qualifying for a bursary that could cover some of the costs of our ADHD coaching. Those who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident may have access to social work services under their car insurance policies.
As of 2012, counselling services provided by social workers can be claimed as a medical expense tax deduction when you file your income tax return. Please retain your receipts for this purpose.
Fees
Sessions are $180.00 inclusive of HST. Sessions are 50-minutes in length and receipts are provided after payment.
